Lil Romeo, the son of rap mogul Master P versus Bow Wow. Ding! Ding! Lets get it on…

Say What?

Its true, hip-hop’s teenyboppers are feuding. Once friends, Lil Romeo and Bow Wow are now enemies. The conflict stems from Bow Wow not really having kind words to say about Lil Romeo in an interview and from a so-called diss on Bow Wow’s single “Fresh Azimiz.”

The “beef” has gotten so bad that daddy Master P has offered Bow Wow to box against his son, Lil Romeo in a pay per view match (Wow!).

Bow Wow, recently responded in an interview with this to say RIGHT HERE

When will all this unnecessary beef cease?

There is something terribly wrong with the culture of hip hop when you have teens beefing and taking shots at each others lifestyles and even ex flings or girlfriends. What makes matters worse is that you have a parent and/or adult figure who is elevating the situation more than what it is by offering a boxing match. The notion of violence always sprouts up when it comes to hip hop and Master P’s comments only enforce negative stereotypes, which have flooded our media outlets and is the representation of hip-hop. Many believe hip-hop is booty shaking and violence, but it’s actually much more.

At least they’re not shooting each other…

Police are not to Blame… Then who?

Thursday, April 20th, 2006

Do you feel police get away with everything?

If your answer is yes, you shouldn’t be too pleased to hear that three off duty cops in Milwaukee were found not guilty by an all white jury of beating a biracial man at a party, in which two of the cops got their jobs back.

I believe examples such as this one, tend to sway the publics view of the justice system, which is a system of unjust rulings and racism. When an event of this magnitude occurs there should be some repercussions. Officers running around vigilante style only fuel more fire to the conflict between police and the public. Protest and riots will contiune and the “pig” moniker will be used over and over, until something is done about police brutality.
