> The video is satire
Clearly, but with what purpose? Illimunition or deflection from the real issue? P&P chose to bring this video to the attention of its readers and the last paragraph of the post seems to indicate agreement in attacking the target of the video. Hey, don't get overly senstitive about this; I'm just trying to have a lively exchange of ideas.

> And our comments about the comments was ironic
Maybe I'm dense but that's not obvious to me. Believe me, I know people who would agree with your comment on the comments!

Man, if this is the serious exchange that this country is having about illegal immigration we're all doomed! There are perhaps two or three thoughtful comments in the comments thread at that YouTube site and the rest is just a pissing contest between partisan morons on the left and right.

As for the video clip itself, sure it’s funny, but like most good propaganda it attacks a straw man of its own creation. (Hmmm… I’m beginning to see a trend on P&P.) Oh, but it’s so hard to listen to the other side and actually try to understand what they’re saying and try to see if there is any merit in what they’re proposing – especially when you KNOW you’re right.
