Mayor-blogger josh wolf

Above, a YouTube primer on the Josh Wolf case and his trial in Second Life run by the Harvard Berkman Center. Wolf was the “anticapitalist” blogger-journalist who was thrown in jail for refusing to turn over to the FBI video he shot in 2005 of the anti-G8 riots in San Francisco, where police were injured and federal property damaged. Wolf spent 226 days in prison.

He’s out now and thinking of running for mayor of San Francisco. He’s got a really good idea about government transparency, too.
