Another ridiculous sex scandal

Eliot Spitzer has been caught not only cheating on his wife, but also hiring a prostitute and bringing that prostitute across state lines, making it a federal crime. A law enforcement official caught Spitzer, or “Client 9,” on a wiretap arranging to meet the prostitute, as reported in the New York Times. Client 9 arranged to bring the lady friend from New York to a hotel in Washington, D.C.
OK, so Spitzer wanted to cheat on his wife. I couldn’t care less. But did he have to pay for it? Did he have to bring her across state lines, making it a federal crime? Did he have to prosecute prostitution rings when he was attorney general? Jesus. One more reason why we need a woman in the White House. At least women know how to have affairs in secret and don’t have to pay for it.
