It’s premature to say that Obama hasn’t fallen into the same trap. Promising AIPAC all of Jerusalem yesterday could easily constitute a major double speak if someone were to devote this much time to analyzing his prior statements.
But alas, the technologically-savvy abundance of liberal-minded folk out there have trained their critical eyes on John McCain. Sign of the times? Does the septuagenarian not yet fully grasp the implications of YouTube on a campaign? No longer the stumping-in-a-vacuum of years past, anything you say anywhere near a camera, even a public access feed in Peoria, will find its way on to YouTube.
In this case, someone with some editing experience, a lot of time, and a vindictive bone took the time to juxtapose several major contradictions McCain has uttered on air. Maybe he doesn’t get it. Maybe he’s old. Maybe he thinks he can get away with it. Or maybe he just doesn’t give a shit.
Apparently, almost 2 million viewers do.

Wow, that’s really shocking when everything is put together like that. And he was the one complaining that Obama flip-flopped over something. He seems to say whatever it seems the reporters want at the time.
