The makers of the cult Facebook fave, Scrabulous, have folded in the face of a cease and desist orders from the makers of the real Scrabble, Hasbro. Facebook and Scrabulous voluntarily took the game down, so now dorky diehards will have to use Hasbro’s Facebook app. Though I am not one of the obsessives of Scrabulous, all of my geeky friends were and I have to wonder how many of them will continue to use Facebook as religiously if they don’t cotton to the Hasbro version and get to display their smarty-pants one-upmanship on a daily basis. VP Tim Kaine? Rumors are swirling that Virigina Guv., Tim Kaine is on the very short list for Obama’s VP. I’m personally already not a fan, since he thinks marriage is for straights only (he opposes it personally), and has only been in office for less than a term, which means that between the two of them, Obama and Kaine wouldn’t even beat Hillary Clinton’s eight years in the big leagues. Also: his name rhymes with McCain. Might be too confusing for people.
