If Massive Attack well, attacked, Dawn Landes, you’d get an adorable Swede that likes to dance. “If you wanna complain, then I’m not the complaint department,” the meek, alabaster-skinned Lykke Li sings on her new album, Youth Novels, released on June 9 in the US.

Alright, clearly lyrics aren’t her specialty. But I admire her from steering away from predictable instruments and using a little foghorn, synth and toy piano.  And just look at that face!

I’ll leave you with videos to judge. But I will tell you that I listened to this whole album one afternoon in LA traffic. And I wasn’t even mad when I came home an hour later. In fact, I felt a little excellent.

She can be adorable!
