Drudge has got the possible scoop that it’s Evan Bayh, not Joe Biden, as the media and money-men have predicted. Though Bayh’s wifey’s spots on lots of corporate boards can make one a little queasy, he seems squeaky clean and not likely to get into any Edwardsian affairs. If it is not Bayh and is Biden I am going to have to hold my nose when I pull the lever, as Biden is the man who pushed the RAVE Act (finally called the Illicit Drug Anti-Proliferation Act ) through by piggy-backing it on the Amber Alert. Also, why would Obama pick someone who gave him a backwards compliment at the start of the contest, calling him clean and well-spoken?

The only thing that would trump the Bayhwatch excitment is a Hillary pick. One can dream. After all, Obama’s campaign them is built around hope right? Right?
