When two people decide to engage in sexual activity that can potentially create a pregnancy, they are entering in a social contract with each other. This includes care for the child if born, and should also include a voice in the decision regarding abortion. Again, abortion is not a means of birth control. Both parties have the responsibilities to take the necessary measures to prevent a pregnancy if they are not willing to take on the responsibilities of rearing a child. The abortion debate is far too often boiled down to two distinct groups. Pro-Abortion/Pro-Choice and Anti-Abortion/Pro-Life.
