Anonymous, just seems like you dont like Bono. You said ”Bono, your not a â€˜Rock Starâ€™ your not considered â€˜Punk Rockâ€™. To me it sounds like whiny old man music” Your own opinion, but MILLIONS of people disagree. Maureen is right, what have you done? Made a donation lately? Do you even know what hes talking about?!?!?!?!?! If you do your research youll see that this isnt just a “quick fix” and thats why hes been at this for nearly 30 years OF HIS LIFE! Hes been getting awarness for these countries and his money would be NOTHING to what they need. Thats why he was involved in band-aid, life-aid and live-8. Live-8, if you remember, caused the G8 leaders to DOUBLE the amounts they will be giving in aid— to 50 BILLION. I wouldnt say even Bono has this much, would you? Next time, think before you post, or better again, dont post at all. Bono is a great person, and people like you shouldnt even try and upset his reputation.

Bono can hardly be called a world leader. He’s an annoying hypocrite who is out for a quick fix, his techniques are hardly ment for long term solutions. If he was really that hurt by what he saw in the third world counrties he visited he would take half of his earnings and dedicate them to education for all of those in poverty, rather than hiding it away in the netherlands for later on. And Bono, your not a ‘Rock Star’ your not considered ‘Punk Rock’. To me it sounds like whiny old man music.
