		<description>great post. being a jazz musician, I totally disagree, but I do understand. and I think you really hit on a zeitgeist here (while making it poignant). my sister and I have had countless arguments over this very topic. I love jazz. my dad loves jazz. my mom&#039;s gotten into it. for me, there are few things more fun than driving to it, listening to it in those 15 or so still-conscious minutes before sleep each night or playing it alone or with friends, but she thinks it&#039;s all shit. so either way...thanks for a good piece.</description>
