Palin gave this answer during an interview with a local Denver TV station Monday, when a third-grader asked her what the Vice President does. The entire clip is below.

New polls released Tuesday suggest Palin is quickly becoming a drag on the McCain campaign. In an NBC/ Wall Street Journal poll, 55 percent of respondents said Palin was not ready to be president. Her support among women has dropped notably, according to a new Pew Research Center for the People & the Press poll. While 36 percent of women under 50 had a unfavorable view of Palin in mid-September, that number had risen to 60 percent a month later.
