The fact that she became primer minister of Pakistan was enough of a credential to make her a very special and brave woman, but trying to come back to power in a country where fundamentalism has a hold was and act of blind heroism . Her assassination a year ago was a sad day not only for her country but for the world</description>

		<description>it was indeed a moving day 20 years ago as this young woman stood to take the oath of office from an old man, with military attaches saluting behind her, both symbols of the structure that had killed her father and imprisoned her, and that continue to obstruct democracy and rule of law today.  she wasn&#039;t perfect, she did fall from grace, democracy is arguably more vulnerable to grease, but its still the only hope against extremism</description>
