Special projects, 2008

This year Pop and Politics is undertaking three special journalistic and community projects: Town & Gown 2008: Los Angeles is a pilot project seeking to more productively connect inner-city American universities with the communities in which they reside; OneBlock is a multimedia storytelling and public-service project based around the post-Katrina diaspora; and Halfrican is a documentary on the relationship between Africans and African-Americans.
