Our P+P team is inside Invesco Field.

They are sending text messages and emails and updates.

Here’s a sampling:

Chris Nelson, 5:10:

Coachella, Lollapalooza.. anything you’ve been to where humans do their best cattle impersonation does not compare to the sight of the line to get in right now.

Kaine speaking Spanish…Latino Vote??

Bill Richardson should lose the beard

Kaine’s speech made me excited Obama chose Biden

Chris Nelson, 5: 19:

P.S. Bill Richardson, aka The Hamburglar is still a tool, even with 40,000 people watching him.

Brooke-Sidney, 5:22 p.m:

Richardson’s speech is really strong on int’l relations. Is he trying out for the secretary of state spot?

Chris Nelson, 5:23

This is insane. The man is a rock star. Doesn’t matter how much the delegates or civilians here espouse specific policies, this has the exact vibe of a show.

Brooke-Sidney, 5:32 p.m.

Somehow Stevie Wonder is always moving and inspiring … Perfect match for Dems msg .. Yes u can.

Max Zimbert, 6:03 p.m.

with progressives like obama, dean and pelosi as leaders, you’d think we would have such stiff acts. Michael mcdonald YUCK

But I guess its better than whatever toothless bumpkin anthems the GOP will offer in MN

Brooke-Sidney, 6:41 p.m.

The crowd loved the Republican’s testimony who is now voting for Obama.

Clearly, Obama campaign is highlighting stories from swing states – OH, MI, FL, NC, NM and IN

Max Zimbert, 6:41 p.m.:

Just was instructed: volunteers will pass out signs. And we are not to hold them up until we are told.

Brooke-Sidney, 6:50 p.m.:

There is a lot of anticipation…. You can feel it in the air. Everyone’s on bated breath waiting to catch a glimpse of obama or michelle

Liveblogging Lunacy at the DNC

UPDATE: CRAZY LADY FROM MSNBC FOUND. THANKS HUFF POST!

This video was embedded using the YouTuber plugin by Roy Tanck. Adobe Flash Player is required to view the video.

Monday, 5:14

Pelosi begins her speech with a hat tip to Hillary. She’s awfully pretty but is pretty stilted as a speaker. She gives a stiff rundown of Democratic accomplishments since the Dems took over Congress. (Really, there were accomplishments? Who knew!) Her big zinger: “Republicans say John McCain has experience. We say John McCain’s experience has been all wrong.”

Monday, 5:01

Chris Matthews is interviewing Bill Maher. Maher is asked about who he prefers for McCain’s running mate. He says he hopes it’s “Mitt Romney, because I’ve got a book on religion coming out.”

Beat.

“Then, Mitt Romney will have to educate people on the lunacy that is Mormonism.”

Monday, 4:47

Tim Russert’s heir apparent is on the MSNBC boob tube talking about young voters. He’s got his paws on a poll of 18 to 24 year-olds that he says he “actually trusts,” because it includes more than landlines—cell phones and email, for instance. In that poll he says that Barack Obama leads McCain 55 to 32 percent. That’s a whopper of a number. Then, Russert gives us another, contradictory number. The question asked the young voters who do you trust to be President, and McCain outpolled Obama, 31 to 28 percent. Innnnerestttttting……

Monday, 3:00 PM

I’ve got MSNBC on the TV as I sit in my apartment in LA, and Matthews is interviewing real live Hillary people for McCain. I guess they really exist. One of the women seemed somewhat normal, but then he moved on to the woman in the middle who was clearly insane. She just kept yelping over and over, “He was registered as a Muslim in school! He was a Muslim! Registered!” Matthews asked her repeatedly to cite her source and she said, “I’ve got a 17-page congressional report!”

“Yes, but who,” asked Matthews gently, aware that he was talking to someone who is clearly not right in the head. She went on squawking. “You can’t hear me!” “Muslim!” “Muslim!” “Email!” “Email!” “17 pages!” “Muslim!”

I thought she was gonna short circuit on national TV.

The problem with this woman’s argument, what little there was of one, is that she failed to say what exactly was wrong with being raised as a Muslim. Not all Muslims grow up to be terrorists, you know.

I can’t imagine she wouldn’t be mobbed if she had started shrieking on national TV, “But he WAS A JEW!”

The circus continues…..
